By contacting us,
we may be able to
help you through
the grievance
process with your
issue.  However,
we can not provide
legal advice.

Please send us your
story - no matter
how long ago it has
been.  It may help
another family just
to know what you
went through.
Maybe you have a "good kid" and think that your child will never be involved in
a disciplinary situation at school - THINK AGAIN!  Please read some of the
accounts from parents just like you who have found themselves in situations that
they should have never been involved in.
The families, and especially the children, are traumatized by these events for the rest
of their lives.  Their views of safety, protection, trust, honesty, and integrity are all
compromised.  If parents stand up for their children, no matter what the outcome is,
at least the child knows that their parents are there for them in a crisis.  They learn
that it is worth the effort to stand up for justice and  not be a victim.  Most
problems will not be solved with the report of one incident, but if enough parents
know how to effectively handle the situation with respect and by the book,
eventually, there will be ears to hear and changes will have to be made.
PLEASE, DO YOUR PART - for your child and others.
Awareness of this problem, its' frequency, and
its' effects is the key to demanding a change.
